Addaday Supports Specialty, Launches with Locally.com

February 10, 2016

As more and more brands grow their direct-to-consumer business, often at the expense of brick and mortar dealers, one fitness company has found an online commerce tool that actually supports specialty retailers.  Addaday, the massage and fitness tool company, has partnered with Locally to help Addaday shoppers find their products in stock at a store near them.

“Our brand was born with the help of specialty running retailers and as we continue to grow we’re dedicated to supporting stores that are committed to their local communities,” says Addaday marketing director, Karen Henry. “Locally gives us an an effective and efficient online shopping tool that drives business to our brick and mortar partners.”

Locally’s platform makes it easy for consumers to find the exact products they are looking for before making a trip to the store. Locally receives live inventory feeds from retailers, enabling Addaday to show it’s shoppers exactly where a product is available nearby, and even put that product on hold or pay online for in-store pickup. Locally is owned and operated by a collection of retailers, brand representatives and web developers who believed there was a better way to connect local stores with online shoppers.

“Locally is all about helping shoppers find what they’re looking for in a store near them” says Mark Strella, Locally’s Business Development Director. “We’re thrilled to be launching these tools with Addaday and look forward to seeing their customers and dealers benefit.”

Addaday’s personal massage and fitness tools help relieve pains associated with IT band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, hamstring strains, shin splits, lower back tightness and glute pain. Originally developed for runners and sold at specialty running stores, athletes from rock climbers to triathletes are discovering how Addaday products help them perform better and recover faster.
