Kitsbow Unveils V2 Collection for Spring-Summer 2018

May 15, 2018

Everyday adventure just got an upgrade with new features allowing riders to go further, faster.

PETALUMA, Calif. (May 15, 2018) Kitsbow, maker of premium cycling clothing and accessories, today introduces the Spring-Summer 2018 V2 collection, built for the relentless cyclist, bearing craftsmanship, function, and style.

“Creating cycling apparel that sets the bar for quality, style, and durability is Kitsbow’s main focus, and the new Spring and Summer V2 collection embodies just that,” explains Zander Nosler, Kitsbow CEO and Founder. “The updates we made to the collection represent our continual drive to make Kitsbow products the absolute best they can be.”

Meet V2: Level Up With Revamped Construction

Ventilated Short V2 ($155):
We took the exceptionally lightweight and carefully tailored Ventilated Short and made it even cooler by maximizing airflow for all-day climbs and brutal descents.

A tough and technical ride short optimized with mesh panels for max airflow, this update includes a built-in belt and auto-locking zipper for a comfortable, perfect fit.

Ventilated Base Short V2 ($155):
The most crucial layer is the one you don’t even notice. Kitsbow updated the successful Ventilated Base Short for best-in-class breathability in humid conditions.

Designed to layer below the new Ventilated Short V2, this updated design includes strategically placed mesh panels to circulate airflow where you need it the most. Simultaneously, the Polartec® Powerstretch® fabric actively wicks away moisture from the skin.

Adjustable Waist Short V4 ($265): Available May 18, 2018
The popularity of this short inspired its fourth update: a new fidlock magnetic snap buckle with a patented technology for user-friendly one-hand closing, even while wearing gloves. The update also includes a new shaped back leg hem to provide optimum comfort while pedaling and a low-profile construction to minimize chafing.

Additionally, the new Coldblack® fabric with technology from Schoeller® reflects more of the sun’s rays off the surface of the fabric than the previous version.

The Adjustable V4 still offers a full 3” of waistband adjustment, handy for adjusting to various layers.

Wind Jacket V2 ($180):
Small but mighty! It fits into a jersey pocket and will keep you warm and protected from the elements while you’re stacking up those big mileage days.

For V2, the jacket now offers innovative side zips (on each side) for one-handed rear jersey pocket access, ending the struggle to get to your stuff, on the road or on the trail.

Other updates include a DWR-treated stretch Nylon feature in front for water resistance, and laser perforations under the arms to vent humidity from within. And if you want to take this to the road, reflective hits on the back provide visibility without sacrificing style.

Wind Vest V2 ($139):
Weighing in at a tiny 4.5 ounces, this packable, wind-blocking, ultralight vest is your insurance plan for grey days and early starts. It fits into its own chest pocket.

Thoughtful product updates include a single side zip for one-handed rear jersey pocket access, a DWR-treated stretch Nylon feature in front for water resistance and a mesh back for breathability.

Like the Wind Jacket V2, the Wind Vest V2 also offers reflective hits to ensure safety and visibility.

This new V2 collection stems from previous iterations that have staked a claim as the go-to apparel options for MTBers and general outdoor enthusiasts alike, also including technical lifestyle pieces like the Merino Ride Tee V2 and the Haskell Short.
