PORTLAND, OREGON (March 16, 2018) –Outdoor Project—found online at outdoorproject.com—recently launched its most ambitious giveaway, an all-inclusive trip for two to Iceland. The giveaway, which includes prize packages from seven participating partner brands, celebrates Outdoor Project’s expanded number of international adventure guides on its platform.

The giveaway launched on March 6 and runs until April 2. Entrants can sign up at https://www.outdoorproject.com/giveaway/win-7-day-trip-iceland. The winner will receive airfare reimbursement up to $1,000, a camper van for seven days provided by Happy Campers, and a $1,500 gear spree from Mountainsmith. The winner will receive additional gear and prizes from Stio, Rumpl, Zeal Optics, Trek Light Gear and Lems Shoes.

“Mountainsmith’s main goal is to help more people get outside and explore this crazy planet. When we team up with our friends in the industry to make that happen, not only is it more fun for us, but it allows us to make a greater, collaborative impact,” said Torie Pfaffy, Marketing Manager for Mountainsmith. “We’ve loved working with Outdoor Project for that exact reason. They’re always brainstorming creative ways to better connect brands with consumers, to inspire all of us to see the world, and to co-create a stronger outdoor community as a whole. The Iceland giveaway brings all of this together while giving one winner the experience of a lifetime.”

Thorstienn Sverrisson, Marketing Manager at Happy Campers added: “Working with Outdoor Project is exciting not only because of their great community and amazing online content, but also because their core mission aligns perfectly with what we’re trying to do at Happy Campers. We share the goal of making traveling (and planning) as simple and easy as possible. Their commitment to non-profits, responsible tourism, outdoor education, and conservation is also something we admire and share a passion for.”

Outdoor Project has, in the past six months, successfully expanded content across the United States and into key international markets that are popular with North American travelers. By featuring over 40 adventure destinations in Iceland, including hot springs, waterfalls, hikes and lodging, the company is gaining momentum in expanding its destination content to new heights. Outdoor Project continues to provide the most unique, experiential and desirable adventures that keep its audience the highest engaged in the outdoor category.

Katherine Jondro, Outdoor Project’s Content Marketing Manager concluded, “This leap into international content has been a long time coming, and the whole team here at Outdoor Project is incredibly excited to see this Iceland giveaway come to fruition. Collaborating with brands such as Happy Campers and Mountainsmith to send two very lucky outdoor enthusiasts on a dream adventure, while simultaneously galvanizing the outdoor community, just makes sense to us. This is just the beginning of our international growth, and we cannot wait to see where this expansion takes us next!”
