March 14, 2018

Former Amazon and L'Oréal Leaders will Oversee Growing Ebike Operations

SEATTLE – March 14, 2018 – Rad Power Bikes, the nation’s largest direct-to-consumer electric bike company, is adding two new directors to its leadership team – Quan Ralkowski, Director of Operations, and Janna Bassett, Director of Supply Chain. Both women will utilize their experience working for global brands to continue driving quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction for the Seattle-based company.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity and capability to bring on two such talented experts. We are at a very important stage in our business where we need leaders in these key management roles in order to scale and meet domestic and international high-volume demand,” said Mike Radenbaugh, CEO of Rad Power Bikes. “Quan and Janna will work to ensure our company continues operating as smoothly as our ebikes.”

Quan Ralkowski, recently recognized as one of Puget Sound Business Journal’s “Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40,” is an ecommerce, retail, and technology leader with more than 15 years of operational experience. Former Senior Global Program Manager at Amazon and Vice President of Operations at Shoes.com, Ralkowski has a strong track record of developing and leading initiatives that lead to happy and informed customers.

Janna Bassett brings more than 10 years of supply chain, manufacturing and management experience to Rad Power Bikes. Previously a Director of Supply Chain Management at Clarisonic and Manager at L’Oréal, Bassett has the proven ability to optimize processes through problem solving. She will apply these skills to ensure Rad Power Bikes continues to offer the highest quality product at the most competitive price.

The new hires join the company at a critical and exciting time. In the last six months, Rad Power Bikes launched its Commercial Division and the RadBurro electric cargo trike, expanded operations in Canada and 28 countries in the European Union, and released its line of 2018 ebike models, including the brand new RadCity Step-Thru. Ralkowski and Bassett will be involved in each of these endeavours, and more.
