Coachmen RV Introduces European-Inspired Hybrid Motorhome
September 29, 2026
Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River, announced the debut of Origin, a new hybrid motorhome. Origin takes the success Coachmen has found with Euro and reimagines those qualities in a completely new way, this time built on the more versatile E-450 Class C chassis rather than a traditional Class A platform, Forest River said in a recent release.
Unlike a typical Class C, which is built around an existing truck cab and interior, Origin was designed completely from scratch, bumper to bumper. A custom front cap features a windshield more than 2½ times the size of one found on a traditional Class C or Class B, giving owners the nimble size of a Class C or van paired with the visibility and safety expected from a Class A, Forest River said.
Inspiration for Origin came from outside the RV industry, drawing on the design language of Tesla, Lamborghini, Hublot and high-end yachts. The goal was to create a motorhome that looked and felt unique inside and out, from the paint and exterior profile to the seating and interior finishes, the company said. RVPRO
