GoPro’s Q2 Sales Slump 31 Percent on Hardware Declines

August 10, 2026

GoPro reported a 31% year-over-year revenue decline in Q2 2026, with total revenue falling to $105 million from $153 million in the same quarter last year. Hardware sales were the primary driver of the slump, dropping 40% to $76 million as camera unit sell-through fell 38% to approximately 291,000 units. Retail channel revenue was hit hardest, plunging 48% to $58 million, while subscription and services revenue grew 11% to $29 million but was insufficient to offset hardware losses. The company also reported a widened net loss of $51 million, or $0.30 per share, compared to $16.4 million, or $0.10 per share, a year earlier. SGB
