GUNNER® and Ducks Unlimited Launch Special-Edition DU Orange G1™ Kennel and Food Crate Supporting Waterfowl Conservation

June 18, 2026

A portion of every purchase helps protect the habitats that make waterfowl hunting possible.

Nashville, Tenn. (June 18, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ GUNNER®, a leading brand known for overbuilt dog gear and the 5-star crash-tested G1™ Kennel, announces the launch of its special-edition GUNNER x Ducks Unlimited (DU) Orange Collection, featuring two of the brand’s most popular products: the G1™ Kennel and Food Crate. Created in partnership with Ducks Unlimited, the collection celebrates a shared commitment to hunting traditions, working dogs, and the conservation of North America’s waterfowl habitats. A portion of each purchase supports Ducks Unlimited’s conservation and habitat restoration efforts.

“Ducks Unlimited has been part of my life for as long as I can remember,” said GUNNER Founder, Addison Edmonds. “I grew up understanding the importance of conservation and the role Ducks Unlimited plays in protecting the landscapes we love. When I first sketched the idea for a GUNNER kennel more than 13 years ago, I mocked it up with the Ducks Unlimited logo on the front. To start the business with that vision, and see the partnership grow over the years has been incredibly meaningful.”

That early sketch became the foundation for the G1™ Kennel, now recognized as one of the most trusted dog kennels in the industry. Known for its uncompromising construction and industry-leading safety credentials, the G1™ Kennel has become synonymous with protecting dogs wherever the road—or the hunt—takes them.

The DU Orange Collection is offered in each G1™ Kennel size, and both sizes of GUNNER’s best-selling Food Crate. Inspired by wetland sunrises, DU Orange echoes the warm horizon of a duck marsh at daybreak: from prairie potholes to coastal marshes and river bottoms across the country. The launch also includes the Habit Collection, an exclusive run of just 99 serialized G1™ Kennels featuring Mossy Oak® Fall Foliage™. Designed for collectors and dedicated waterfowl hunters alike, each kennel features the iconic camouflage pattern on the door panel and is individually numbered. With only 99 units available, the Habit Collection will never be reproduced once sold out.

The collaboration builds on a longstanding relationship between GUNNER and Ducks Unlimited. Over the years, the organizations have partnered on multiple initiatives, including the recently launched GUNNER Waterfowl Vest: a purpose-built piece of gear engineered to help hunting dogs conserve energy, recover faster, and perform more effectively throughout every stage of the hunt.

The launch also highlights the organizations’ shared belief that conservation and hunting go hand in hand. As the leading nonprofit dedicated to conserving, restoring, and managing North America’s wetlands and waterfowl habitats, Ducks Unlimited has helped safeguard millions of acres that support critical wildlife habitat for future generations. In their 10 years in business, GUNNER has donated over $250k to wetland conservation through their partnership with Ducks Unlimited.

“For DU supporters, our pets are family, and GUNNER kennels offer the peace of mind that our dogs will be safe when we are on the road,” said DU CEO, Adam Putnam. “Our partnership with GUNNER connects passionate hunters and dog owners with conservation efforts that directly impact the future of waterfowl hunting. We’re proud to work alongside GUNNER to support the launch of the GUNNER x Ducks Unlimited Orange Collection.”
