July 14, 2026

Outdoor Industry Veterans Join the Emergency ID Platform to Support Brand Growth, Partnerships and Athlete Programs

EAGLE, Colo., (July 14, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ — KOPILOT.ID, the NFC-enabled digital emergency ID platform that keeps critical information connected to the gear athletes and adventurers already use, announced that Brook Hopper and Jake Martin have joined the team to support the brand’s next stage of growth across communications, content, partnerships, athlete programs, sell-in strategy and industry outreach.

KOPILOT.ID was co-founded by Justin Bradshaw and Mark Roebke, the entrepreneurs behind REVER, the motorcycle navigation and community platform built to help riders discover, plan, navigate, record and share rides. With KOPILOT.ID, Bradshaw and Roebke are applying that same community-first, technology-driven approach to emergency ID, making critical information easier to access from the gear athletes and riders already use.

“We built REVER because we ride, and we understood how technology could make the experience better,” said Justin Bradshaw, co-founder of KOPILOT.ID. “KOPILOT.ID comes from that same place. We are users of the gear, we are part of these communities, and we know how important the right information can be in the right moment. Having Brook and Jake join forces with us now is a major step for the brand.”

Users create an emergency profile in the KOPILOT.ID app and link it to a durable NFC-enabled tag that can attach to helmets, packs, goggles, jackets and other gear. If help is needed, anyone with a smartphone can tap the tag to view the emergency information the user has chosen to share. No app is required to read the tag.

Hopper brings more than 20 years of experience across brand strategy, go-to-market, communications, public relations, partnerships, retail, athlete and ambassador programs. Most recently, she served as director of marketing at Katadyn North America. Her background also includes leadership roles at Manitobah, A New Earth Project, Liv Cycling, 1% for the Planet and The North Face.

At KOPILOT.ID, Hopper will lead brand strategy, communications, content, creative direction and messaging, helping build a cohesive brand system while shaping athlete, ambassador and community storytelling across every touchpoint.

“Yes, KOPILOT.ID is for the athlete, rider, skier, runner or climber wearing the tag,” Hopper said. “But it is also for the people who love them and the people who may need to help. The tag makes critical information easier to access. The bigger promise is peace of mind and a clearer way to act when it matters most.”

Martin brings more than 20 years of experience driving commercial growth, brand strategy and strategic partnerships across the outdoor and action sports industries. His career includes leadership roles with Patagonia, The North Face, Quiksilver and Red Bull, where he has developed go-to-market strategies, built strategic partnerships, launched products and led integrated initiatives that connect brands, athletes, retailers and consumers.

Most recently, Martin spent five years at Red Bull leading athlete marketing across action sports and Olympic disciplines, developing partnerships and cross-functional programs that supported brand growth, consumer engagement and commercial objectives. Earlier in his career, he led global product marketing at Patagonia, managed The North Face’s Summit Series product line and held marketing leadership positions at Quiksilver, helping drive product strategy and commercial growth for some of the outdoor industry’s most recognized brands.

At KOPILOT.ID, Martin will lead commercial strategy focused on business development, strategic partnerships, product integration, retail strategy and channel growth, while helping build the company’s athlete partnership and ambassador programs across the outdoor, snow, cycling, moto, hunting and endurance markets.

Hopper and Martin join a growing team that includes Blake Draguesku, who has more than 10 years of experience in the outdoor industry and has worked with the founders across REVER and KOPILOT.ID, helping lead content, digital strategy and partnership activation.

“KOPILOT.ID is simple to use, but the opportunity behind it is big,” said Mark Roebke, co-founder of KOPILOT.ID. “The product has to work in real conditions, the technology has to be intuitive and the brand has to earn trust in the communities where it matters. Brook and Jake understand how to build that trust.”

KOPILOT.ID is already showing up across moto, cycling, gravel and endurance communities through relationships with events and organizations including Breck Epic, TransRockies Race Series, Bighorn Gravel, AMA National Hare & Hound, AMA West Hare Scrambles U.S. Hard Enduro and The Kurt Caselli Foundation.
