September 21, 2026 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Trail Cat The Race has announced Mount to Coast as the official technical partner for its 2026 edition, in a collaboration that further strengthens the event’s position within the international ultra trail scene. Mount to Coast is a high-performance technical footwear brand focused on long-distance running, with an approach built on biomechanics, applied innovation, and the development of shoes designed to meet the demands of prolonged endurance efforts.

The partnership carries particular significance in the context of Trail Cat The Race 2026, a 300-mile adventure linking Andorra, France, and Catalonia in a route of exceptional physical and mental difficulty. The race will cross more than ten regions before finishing in Tarragona, creating an extreme endurance challenge across varied, technical, and highly distinctive landscapes.

The race will start on October 11 from the center of Andorra la Vella at 12:00 noon, with a time limit of 154 hours to complete a route that remains secret until one week before the start and is provided to participants as a GPS track. The course is not waymarked; it’s a proposed track with more than 100 mandatory waypoints that must be completed. Along the route there will be three fully equipped life and aid stations where participants can regain strength and rest, although race time does not stop at any point, so managing rest will be a key part of race strategy.
