Oboz Footwear and GorpGirls celebrate girls who love dirt with limited edition collab

June 18, 2026

Limited-edition hiking shoes available June 26 at Obozfootwear.com and at launch events

BOZEMAN, MT (June 18, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/Oboz Footwear, the Bozeman-based performance trail brand, and GorpGirls, a female-led community reshaping outdoor culture through connection and shared experience, have come together to design a shoe that celebrates community, storytelling, and getting outside together. The Oboz x GorpGirls Crosscut launches Friday, June 26, with launch events in New York and Los Angeles.

“Oboz and GorpGirls were both built on a simple idea that the outdoors is open to anyone who is drawn to it,” said Abigail Cook, Oboz marketing manager. “This collaboration is an extension of that; a shoe made for women who show up, get outside, and bring their friends along.”

To celebrate the collaboration, Oboz and GorpGirls are hosting community events in New York City and Los Angeles:

Thursday, June 25, 2026

  • Paragon Sports | New York, NY; 6:30-8:30 PM – RSVP LINK
  • USAL Annex House | Los Angeles, CA; 6:00-9:00 PM – RSVP LINK

Friday, June 26, 2026

  • Hatchet Outdoor Supply | Brooklyn, NY; 10 AM – 12PM – RSVP LINK

The Thursday evening events in New York and Los Angeles will feature music, drinks, and a charm bar for personalizing footwear. The Friday morning event at Hatchet Outdoor Supply includes a community walk, coffee from Forchewn, and time outside to kick off launch day.

“Partnering with Oboz has given GorpGirls the opportunity to create a shoe that reflects our community and the shared idea that everyone belongs outdoors,” said Sydney Martinez, Head of GorpGirls LA. “We intentionally designed this shoe to be versatile and make the person wearing it feel and look confident on or off the trail.”

The Oboz x Gorp Girls Crosscut is built to move and is equally at home on the trail, the sidewalk, and everywhere the day takes you. Lightweight and stable with all-day cushioning underfoot, it’s the kind of shoe you can lace up in the morning and forget you’re wearing by noon.

The Oboz x Gorp Girls Crosscut is built on the Crosscut Low, a new Oboz style launching this fall. A quick lace system lets you dial in the fit in seconds and lock it in and a breathable mesh and leather upper keeps things comfortable across miles and climates. A grippy Trail Tread™ AT outsole handles dirt, pavement, or any unpredictable surface in between. The KINERTIA™ Energy midsole delivers responsive cushioning that moves with you, and the O FIT Ortholite® insole keeps your feet feeling fresh from the first step to your final stop.

The collab edition is distinguished by its Brambleberry colorway, developed jointly by the two brands. Deep plum, sage green, and lavender with magenta accents translate the GorpGirls aesthetic into a functional trail shoe that’s as fun to look at as it is to wear.

The Oboz women’s Crosscut Low x GorpGirls is available beginning June 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM MT at obozfootwear.com. The shoe will carry a retail price of $155.
