Salomon Aims for $3 Billion in Revenue by 2028
September 17, 2026
Amer Sports Inc. celebrated its Salomon brand’s 79th anniversary by holding its second investor day since becoming a public firm in 2024.
Amer’s chief executive officer Jie “James” Zheng said the company has a “very unique proposition,” and it wins share by creating innovative and high-tech products to address the needs of the market. Amer’s brands include the Salomon sneaker brand, technical performance brand Arc’teryx and its Wilson 360 operation.
The key disclosure by Zheng is that by 2028, “we’d like to make Salomon become a $3 billion brand.”
To do that, he cited Sportstyle as a tool that gives the brand “a weapon to unlock the big potential,” particularly with the younger, female consumer. Sportstyle is the sneaker brand’s technical footwear with roots in streetwear featuring outdoor-indoor design and all-day comfort. WOMEN’S WEAR DAILY
