A new standard for conservation storytelling arrives in Colorado this August

Colorado, USA (July 2, 2026) /Outdoor Sportswire/  — The Origins Foundation, in partnership with Ullr’s Archery, has announced the Colorado Conservation Film Festival 2026, set for August 1, 2026.

Designed to bring together filmmakers, conservationists, hunters, outdoor leaders, and people who care deeply about wildlife and wild places, the Colorado Conservation Film Festival will spotlight the role of storytelling in shaping the future of conservation.

The festival will feature a curated lineup of films focused on conservation, outdoor culture, wildlife, hunting, and the human connection to wild places. The evening program will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., followed by a filmmaker and industry afterparty from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

“This is not just a film festival. It is a platform for the stories that define conservation in the modern West,” said Robbie Kroger, founder of The Origins Foundation. “We want to bring together the people doing meaningful work in the field, the filmmakers helping audiences see it differently, and the outdoor community that understands what is at stake.”

The Colorado Conservation Film Festival is being presented in partnership with Ullr’s Archery, bringing together a shared commitment to wildlife, stewardship, outdoor heritage, and the people working to protect the landscapes that make those traditions possible.
