The Roark Spring Collection – Mystic Motu Vol. 24

February 16, 2023

Inspired by The Atolls of Tahiti

Laguna Beach, CA /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Roark is proud to announce the release of its new Spring Collection: Mystic Motu, an offering of seasoned adventure-ready clothing, bags and accessories, inspired by Roark’s latest adventure through Tahiti. The collection features a wide array of graphics and prints inspired by the local flora and fauna, colors and characters that guided the Roark team through jungles, up cliffs and trails, and across open seas in search of free-spirited adventure and warm water waves.

The new season of goods relies heavily on Roark’s travel tested, purpose built silhouettes that provide multi-use function across a wide array of activities. From high performance surf boardshorts like the 4-way stretch, welded seamed Passage Primo to the fan favorite, microperforated and moisture wicking Bless Up woven, and the emerging women’s assortment, including the new Layover Jumpsuit and Idle Woven Set, the new collection of tailored by travel goods has taken all aspects of the Spring Season into account.

After a decade of building purpose built goods for the open road and off the beaten path, Roark made it clear that the woman’s voice in adventurism would no longer be ignored by launching its women’s collection in November of 2022, and then growing it significantly for spring of 2023 with new styles that are timeless and modern, purpose driven and full of style. To build a community that amplifies women in the outdoors, on the ocean, and off the beaten path, this campfire crew is gathering online and across the globe from Tahiti to the next epic destination.

Of note, for S/S23 is Roark’s latest Artist In Residence collaboration, this time featuring the works of local Tahitian artist Yiling Changues. Her hand drawn illustrations span across wovens, boardshorts and graphic tees for men and women, all speaking to Tahitian folklore and her surroundings. Roark will be donating a portion of all proceeds from the collaboration to the non-profit Tamarii no te Moana, a coral restoration project she also works for.

Each season, Roark creates a collection of purpose-built gear with styling details fit to accommodate needs from the trail to the bar. Inspiration comes from a chosen destination where their team explores and tests the product amongst a myriad of adventurous pursuits: surfing, climbing, running, skating and more. Durable quality and comfort is the guiding light. Roark continues to utilize and expand upon sustainable fabrics and Fair Trade partners throughout the collection.

The Alta’s premium details and thoughtful features deliver the best in function through simplicity and were designed to meet all the demands of a long day in the trails, keeping you comfortable and supported.
