To Honor America’s 250th Anniversary, SpotOn GPS Fence is set to Award $250,000 to Military and Veteran Dog Organizations

Supporting those who have served our nation, SpotOn Gives will provide grants to nine organizations focused on veteran and military animal welfare programs

New Hampshire, July 1, 2026 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – SpotOn GPS Fence, the original GPS-based dog fence system, is opening applications for its 2026 SpotOn Gives grant program. This year, the company is awarding $250,000 in grants exclusively to animal-assisted programs and working-animal nonprofit organizations serving veterans, military families, and military communities, marking SpotOn’s most concentrated giving effort to date in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.

Since its founding, SpotOn Gives has supported nonprofits across rescue, shelter, working dog, and local community categories. This year, the company is narrowing its focus to support a central cause centered on organizations that pair working and companion animals with the people who have served, or are actively serving, our country. The 2026 program will award one $100,000 flagship grant, three $25,000 impact grants, and five $15,000 recognition grants, for a total of nine recipient organizations.

SpotOn Gives launched as part of the company’s broader commitment to animal welfare and the communities around it. Over the past three years, the program has donated more than $1.5 million to organizations supporting animal rescue, shelters, and responsible pet ownership, including more than $350,000 in direct grants that have helped an estimated 558 animals find safety, training, or new homes. That history includes past recipients such as The Pope Memorial Humane Society – Cocheco Valley, Broken Souls Rescue and Recovery, Everett Animal Shelter, and Blue Star Service Dogs, Inc., which have used funding to expand behavior and training programs, reduce shelter euthanasia, increase foster placements, rescue and rehabilitate at-risk dogs, and train service dogs for veterans and first responders.
