US Trail Running Conference attracts Industry Experts to Estes Park

Estes Park, CO – Join some of America’s best trail and mountain runners at the seventh annual US Trail Running Conference, October 9-12, 2019, in the Concert Hall at the historic Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, CO.  The conference is presented by Race Roster, the fastest growing registration platform in the US, organized by Active at Altitude, and is held in partnership with the American Trail Running Association (ATRA).

Spanning three and a half days, content directed to Trail Race Directors begins Wednesday October 9, and continues through to Friday October 11. Planned are interactive sessions with panels comprised of seasoned Trail Race Directors, two networking evenings, and an expo showcasing services and products critical for conducting innovative, successful, and sustainable trail races.

Speakers include Billy Mills (1964 Olympic gold medalist), Steve Aderholt (Ragnar Relays), Paulette Odenthal (Road Runners Club of America), Josue Stephens (Spartan Trail), Craig Thornley (Western States 100), Megan Finnesy (Dirty 30), and Greg Lanctot (Pacific Coast Trail Runs). Race Directors who attend will receive a free action and resource guide that contains effective strategies and information to help them grow the scope of their events.

Content on Saturday, October 12, is geared to Trail Runners, and includes interactive workshops with topics ranging from shoe technology to nutrition, as well as a running form clinic. A coaches’ corner will focus on healthy training, and additional topics will cover trail stewardship, advocacy, and diversity in our sport.  Team USA mountain and trail runners that will participate in and lead sessions include Joseph Gray, Addie Bracy, Corey Conner, Sage Canaday, Sandi Nypaver, Tayte Pollmann, Max King, and Peter Maksimow.
