Sherpa Adventure Gear Launches Tarcho Collection: Wear the Spirit of Nepal, Support the Future of Its Children

September 23, 2025

Inspired by Himalayan prayer flags, the Tarcho Collection embodies resilience, compassion, and hope, with every purchase helping fund education for children in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Nepal – September 23, 2025 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Today Sherpa Adventure Gear announced the launch of the Tarcho Collection, reaffirming their purpose-driven mission to inspire lives of adventure by exploring new lands and opening minds through learning.

Designed and made in Nepal, the Tarcho Collection is inspired by the colorful prayer flags that symbolize goodwill and compassion. The collection not only embodies the spirit of the Himalayas but also directly supports education for children in Nepal through the company’s partnership with Room to Read.

The Tarcho Collection was created by the founding Sherpa family and designed by Tsedo Sherpa-Ednalino, daughter of founder Tashi Sherpa. Drawing inspiration from Tarcho prayer flags that are strung along high mountain ridges, the collection reflects the belief that prayers carried by the wind can spread hope, resilience, and compassion in the face of adversity.

“Education is the foundation of opportunity,” said Tsedo Sherpa-Ednalino. “Our mission is to empower the next generation of Nepali children by ensuring they have access to schooling. Every product in this collection is not just gear for adventure, it’s a step toward building brighter futures.”
