Cyclocross Nationals Returning to Fayetteville, Arkansas This December

Five days of elite racing to bring national spotlight and community excitement to Centennial Park

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (November 4, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/The USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships are returning to Fayetteville, Dec. 10–14, 2025, bringing five days of competition, community pride, and national visibility to the robust Northwest Arkansas outdoor recreation scene.

Races will take place at Centennial Park, the purpose-built cycling venue that previously hosted the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships and the 2022 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships. The event will again attract elite athletes, spectators, and media from across the country for one of cycling’s most dynamic disciplines.

Event Highlights

  • Dates: Dec. 10–14, 2025

  • Competitions: Dozens of categories and age divisions across five days of racing
  • Spectator Experience: Food trucks, beer garden, coffee vendors, and a kids’ mini-course for young riders
  • Community Impact: Thousands of visitors expected, supporting local businesses and showcasing Fayetteville as a premier winter cycling destination

Spectators can attend for free, and select races will stream online. A media center will be available for credentialed journalists.

With more than 100 miles of shared-use and natural-surface trails, including nationally recognized systems at Centennial Park and Kessler Mountain, Fayetteville has established itself as a trusted host for major cycling events. The city’s ongoing investment in trails and community programs recently earned it a Gold-level Bicycle Friendly Community designation from the League of American Bicyclists and recognition from the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as the first Bike City in the United States. Those honors, along with national attention from Outside magazine as one of the “Best Bike Towns in America,” highlight Fayetteville’s growing reputation as one of the nation’s premier cycling destinations.
