Voting Now Open for the 2026 Outdoor Media Awards People’s Choice Categories

Recognize standout outdoor media, creators, podcasts, and publications from the past year with your public vote through March 2, 2026.

February 2, 2026 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Voting for the 2026 Outdoor Media Awards – People’s Choice categories is open now through Noon CST on March 2, 2026! The Outdoor Media Awards are the annual awards program of Outdoor Media Summit, recognizing the editors, journalists, freelancers, content creators, and digital and print publications making waves in the outdoor media landscape.

Outdoor Media Summit is the industry’s leading conference where the brightest minds in outdoor media and marketing gather to share insights, forecast trends, and explore new ways to grow sustainable, profitable careers and businesses.

This year, OMS received over 220 nominations for the following categories:

• Best Print Publication of 2025
• Best Digital Publication of 2025
• Best Podcast of 2025
• Best YouTube Channel of 2025
• Best Social Handle of 2025

Each person gets one vote and all voting for the People’s Choice nominees will take place in the Outdoor Media Awards Facebook Group. These awards will be presented to the most accomplished media and creators of 2025 at Outdoor Media Summit 2026 in Asheville, NC (Sept 28 – 30, 2026). In the coming weeks nominees will ask their followers for support to rank them #1.

Winners will receive a complimentary All Inclusive Ticket to Outdoor Media Summit 2026 as well as a travel stipend to attend the summit in Asheville, North Carolina. The award ceremony will take place on the afternoon of Day 3 of Outdoor Media Summit (Sept 30, 2026), where winners will receive an engraved plaque with their name and award title.
