April 20, 2026

No mistakes on hallowed ground.

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 20, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ Cyclist and filmmaker, Safa Brian, premieres the next installment of his fan-favorite series with “PRAY FOR SPEED: The Dolomites” on April 19, 2026, at 9:00 am EST on YouTube.

PRAY FOR SPEED: The Dolomites, the series’ third installment, brings Safa Brian to the hallowed, jagged peaks of northern Italy. Produced by Safa’s own Circle X Projects, the film channels the raw energy of surf and skate culture by ditching formal competition in favor of the “video part” tradition. This shift prioritizes pure athleticism, style, and the adrenaline of the descent, all driven by a curated soundtrack of Safa’s personal favorites.

Capturing the beauty of the Dolomites’ serpentine roads required immense forethought and effort. To claim these iconic passes before the tourist crowds arrived, Safa and his crew set out long before sunrise, often sacrificing tire grip on cold tarmac for the sake of empty lanes. The result is a tribute to the Dolomites and a week of relentless work, criss-crossing hundreds of kilometers of mountain roads to find the perfect intersection of speed and scenery. Fans may recall TRUST – Descending in the Dolomites, in which Safa provided a rare behind-the-scenes look into how the crew captures that PRAY FOR SPEED lightning in a bottle.

About Safa Brian

Safa Brian is a cyclist and filmmaker based in California. After spending his childhood riding in South Africa, he worked his way around the world as a bike messenger and race organizer. Now settled in Los Angeles, he is the founder of Circle X Projects, a media production company through which he produces and self-distributes his work.

Today, his content has amassed 265 million YouTube views, and regularly reaches nearly a million outdoor and action sports enthusiasts worldwide through his short and long-form channels. By featuring himself or other notable riders directly within the frame, Safa creates a visceral, real-time perspective that distinguishes his films. Drawing from surf and skate culture, he brings a progressive sensibility to cycling media—driving cultural evolution and providing a compelling entry point for new riders while remaining deeply connected to the sport’s core community.

Regarded as one of the industry’s most prolific creators, Safa is equally formidable on the bike. Cycling Weekly dubbed him the “world’s fastest descender” in 2025, and Olympic gold medalist Tom Pidcock famously called him the “King of Downhill” in Descent Disciples | Volume 13. Through Circle X Projects, Safa partners with leading brands like SCOTT Sports, KASK, and ASSOS to produce authentic, performance-driven content. He has filmed with icons including Vincenzo Nibali, Romain Bardet, and Kate Courtney, and has documented the sport’s most prestigious events—from the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia to the World Championships.

Whether behind or in front of the camera, Safa’s goal is simple: to reshape how the cycling industry sees itself and, above all, to inspire more people to ride.
