Alterra Mountain Company Closes on Schweitzer Acquisition

Alterra Mountain Company closed on purchasing Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Idaho, bringing the company’s year-round mountain destinations to 17 in North America, which includes the world’s largest heli-ski operation.

Alterra said that Tom Chasse will stay on as president and COO of Schweitzer and oversee daily operations while leading the resort’s future capital improvement plans. SGB Media
