American Icons Bag Balm and Wrangler® Partner Up to Release Limited-Edition Tin

December 2, 2025

Lyndonville, VT (December 2, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/—Vermont’s Original Bag Balm and iconic American denim brand Wrangler® are partnering up to celebrate their shared American heritage with a limited-edition tin that pairs Bag Balm’s original salve with Wrangler’s timeless Cowboy Cut denim.

In 1899, the first tin of Bag Balm found its way onto a Vermont dairy farm. In 1947, Wrangler jeans attended their first rodeo. Today, you’re sure to find these iconic brands on every small farm, ranch, and rodeo in the country, from East to West. This collaboration is a tribute to these farmers and ranchers, and all the folks who put in an honest day’s work.

“Bag Balm is an American heritage brand rooted in tradition, simplicity, and authenticity. We are honored to partner with Wrangler, another storied brand trusted by Americans for decades. We wanted to create something that would express our gratitude to the hardworking American families that have championed both Bag Balm and Wrangler for generations. This limited-edition tin celebrates our shared heritage—and let’s face it, it’s just plain fun,” says Libby Parent, President, Vermont’s Original Bag Balm.

The limited-edition tin is filled with Bag Balm’s Original Formula—an intensely moisturizing, long-lasting balm that soothes and softens skin from head to toe. Originally created in 1899 to soothe dairy cow udders, Bag Balm is still proudly made in Vermont using simple, time-tested ingredients. The versatile formula is made with hydrating, USP-grade petrolatum and enriched with skin-soothing, emollient lanolin. Bag Balm works wonders on dry hands, chapped lips, cracked heels, and much, much more.

The print on the outside pays tribute to Wrangler’s famous Cowboy Cut denim. Since “Rodeo Ben” Lichtenstein designed the first pair back in 1947, Wrangler has become a cornerstone of American denim. Originally made for cowboys, ranchers, and rodeo stars, their original men’s bootcut jeans were as tough as they come and built for in-saddle comfort. Today, they proudly offer a wide variety of sizes and styles.

“At Wrangler, we’ve always believed in the spirit of the American West and our heritage is rooted in hard work. Bag Balm is a brand that shares that ethos completely. This limited-edition tin isn’t just about two iconic brands coming together; it’s about celebrating the grit and resilience of the people who’ve trusted us both for generations. It’s a way of recognizing that hard work, and giving them something that’s as dependable as they are,” says John Meagher, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing, Wrangler.
