February 17, 2026

GOLDEN, Colo. (February 17, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Bonfire Collective, a marketing agency serving outdoor, active lifestyle, environmental, and purpose-driven brands, today announced the appointment of Brian Holcombe as Director of Accounts & Strategy. In this role, Holcombe will lead partner strategy and cross-disciplinary collaboration as Bonfire continues to grow its roster of brands, shaping culture and the outdoors.

Holcombe brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and earned trust with some of the most recognizable names in the outdoor and active-lifestyle space. His background spans agency leadership, brand communications, and integrated marketing. He is grounded in a deep understanding of how authentic stories and strong relationships drive long-term brand growth.

“Brian is the kind of leader who understands that great work starts with clarity, trust, and respect for both the craft and the people behind it,” said Erik Lambert, Founder and CEO of Bonfire Collective. “As Bonfire grows, we’ve been intentional about building leadership that strengthens our partnerships and our internal culture at the same time. Brian brings a rare mix of strategic rigor, industry credibility, and human-centered leadership that aligns perfectly with who we are and where we’re headed.”

Before joining Bonfire, Holcombe held senior leadership roles at top active lifestyle agencies, including rygr and Backbone, where he partnered with brands such as Nike, Orvis, Salomon, POC, Smartwool, and Strava across outdoor, sport, and apparel categories. His experience includes leading multi-disciplinary teams, shaping full-funnel brand and communications strategies, and guiding organizations through periods of growth and change. Earlier in his career, he worked in specialty outdoor retail, earned media, and editorial roles at VeloNews, giving him a storyteller’s perspective on what resonates with outdoor audiences and how brands earn credibility within the culture.

At Bonfire, Holcombe will focus on elevating partner experience, strengthening strategic alignment across accounts, and helping teams do their best work through clear systems, thoughtful collaboration, and shared accountability. His role is designed to support Bonfire’s current and future client partners and its internal teams as the agency scales.

“I’ve spent my career working with brands that live at the intersection of performance, culture, and the outdoors,” said Holcombe. “Bonfire stood out to me because of its values, its people, and its commitment to doing work that actually matters. I’m excited to help our partners navigate growth with intention and to build systems that allow great ideas and great people to thrive.”

Holcombe is also a lifelong outdoor enthusiast whose personal connection to adventure, movement, and community mirrors the brand’s Bonfire serves and gives a perspective that continues to shape his approach to leadership and strategy.
