GoPro to Eliminate 23 Percent of Workforce in Cost-Cutting Push

GoPro, Inc. said in a regulatory filing that its board has approved a restructuring plan that will include the reduction of approximately 145 employees, representing approximately 23 percent of its workforce.
GoPro’s global headcount was 631 employees at the end of the first quarter
The video camera maker said the program is designed to “reduce operating costs and drive stronger operating leverage.”
The reduction is being implemented in the second quarter of 2026 and is expected to be substantially completed by the end of 2026. The Restructuring Plan is expected to result in an estimated aggregate charge in the range of $11.5 million to $15 million. SGB MEDIA
