Outdoor Sportsman Group Honors NSSF’s Chris Dolnack at SHOT Show

Live from SHOT Show Host Michael Waddell Presents Award to Longtime NSSF Executive

DENVER (February 5, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) recognized Chris Dolnack, Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), with the media company’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual NSSF Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) in Las Vegas in January. The special award, which salutes Dolnack’s outstanding contributions to the outdoor industry, was presented during some live filming at the OSG booth.

Towards the end of this segment of the live stream, Live from SHOT Show with Michael Waddell, OSG Group Publisher Michael Cassidy slipped the award to Michael Waddell for unboxing by Dolnack, with OSG Executive Vice President of Operations Derek Sevcik standing just off camera. Dolnack smiled warmly as he received the award, which celebrates more than three decades of contribution to the NSSF on behalf of the shooting sports and the firearms industry.

“I’m surprised and humbled to be recognized by Outdoor Sportsman Group,” said Dolnack. “If you would have told my 20-year-old self that I would have the career and life that I’ve had working in the outdoor and shooting sports industry, I never would have believed it. I’ve made so many lifelong friends, and worked with so many great people, and I’m grateful for those friendships and opportunities I’ve had along the way.”

All who attended the recent SHOT Show can attest to the trade show’s continued growth and success, much of which can be attributed to Dolnack’s leadership and to the overall excellence of his marketing and membership teams.
