OuterSpatial Launches Team Plan for Outdoor Organizations of All Sizes

April 7, 2026

New offering makes it easier for organizations to share maps, updates, events, and visitor information, while strengthening the outdoor network across each state

/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – OuterSpatial has officially launched the Team Plan, a new offering designed to give outdoor organizations of all sizes a way to increase visibility, connect with visitors, and drive participation in the places, programs, and activities they manage.

Built on the same platform trusted by some of the largest parks and recreation organizations in the United States, the Team Plan makes OuterSpatial’s capabilities available to a broader range of organizations, teams, and even those managing individual parks, strengthening the overall outdoor ecosystem in the process.

The Team Plan enables organizations to establish a presence on OuterSpatial in minutes, giving teams with limited bandwidth a practical path to begin sharing visitor-facing information right away.

That simplicity is important. Many organizations want to promote what is happening on the ground, but do not have the time or staff to manage complicated software. The Team Plan allows organizations to add events, programs, and updates, connect directly with visitors, and share real-time notices about conditions, closures, and alerts without creating a heavy operational lift.

Organizations joining through the Team Plan are entering a platform that already helps people discover and explore the outdoors, giving them an immediate opportunity to boost visibility, attract new visitors, and increase participation in their programs.

The Team Plan also creates meaningful upside for all organizations already on OuterSpatial. As more organizations join, the network expands across a state, becomes increasingly active, and grows in value. That helps drive stronger visitor engagement overall while building familiarity and habit in the app, so when people are ready to explore a larger park system or statewide destination, OuterSpatial is already a natural part of that journey.

In addition to core publishing tools, Team Plan organizations have access to Challenges, a unique OuterSpatial feature that makes outdoor experiences interactive and memorable. Organizations can use Challenges to encourage visitation to specific areas or points of interest, create scavenger hunts, or build passport programs that reward visitors with digital badges for checking in at parks and other destinations.

By enabling organizations, teams, and staff members to participate, OuterSpatial helps create a more complete outdoor information network across a state or region. That means visitors can discover new places and access better guidance wherever they go, while larger agencies and statewide partners benefit from a richer ecosystem around them.

“The Team Plan is about opening the door for more organizations to get on the map and share the kinds of information visitors actually need,” said Ryan Branciforte, CEO of OuterSpatial. “As organizations join OuterSpatial, the platform creates deeper engagement for partners, greater visibility across a state, and a smoother experience for visitors.”

Outdoor discovery does not begin and end within a single agency or system. Visitors move across cities, counties, trail systems, recreation providers, and other outdoor organizations as part of one broader journey. The Team Plan brings organizations of all sizes into the same connected network, creating a better experience for the public and long-term value for partners.

All organizations can try the Team Plan free for one month, after which it is available for $250 per month.
