OutsidePR Announces Partners For 2026 J.E.D.I.+ Program

December 10, 2025

PYNRS, Ma’wa Collective, and Take the Lead join forces with OPR to amplify critical opportunities

Sausalito, Calif. (December 10, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ OutsidePR, a leading public relations agency for the active-consumer market, is honored to announce its three selected partners for 2026 as part of the agency’s commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion: PYNRS, Ma’wa Collective, and Take the Lead.

In an effort to increase accessibility to and diversity within the outdoor industry, OutsidePR engineered its JEDI+ program by engaging with a number of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion-based organizations on a pro-bono basis every year. The 2026 program allows for three 4-month-long projects, partnering with organizations to elevate visibility and engagement around key initiatives, events, or news. OutsidePR employees and management work with the selected organizations to set and meet public relations, communications, branding and partnership goals.

The 2026 OutsidePR JEDI+ program partners:

PYNRS is a performance streetwear brand founded by Sidney Baptista in 2020 to create space and opportunity for underrepresented communities in running. Centered around the experiences of people of color through their product development, storytelling/marketing, and opportunities to work with or for the brand, PYNRS now extends beyond apparel into media, experiences, and the PYNRS Network—a platform designed to reimagine ownership and distribute culture in new ways. Baptista’s vision is to flip the script on a traditional apparel company and prove that communities can have shared ownership in the culture and influence they help create.

Ma’wa Collective is the largest adventure travel company for Muslims, hosting experiences designed and curated for Muslim women in the US and internationally, catering to their unique set of needs that align with cultural and religious values: women-only, beginner-friendly and faith-based practices. Their experienced team of Trip Leaders are members of their community and provide direct support and mentorship to participants throughout their outdoor journeys. Their team believes in the power of adventure and shared outdoor experiences to empower, uplift, and inspire women to push their limits and reach their full potential.

Take the Lead is the first-ever running and outdoor industry retreat, co-founded by Alison Mariella Désir and Martha Garcia in 2022, centering the experiences of women and femmes of color, with the mission to validate, support, and lead the change they want to see in the running industry.

“The OutsidePR team has always felt strongly that the industry, and wider community, has space for everyone, and we are committed to elevating the voices of organizations focused on increasing accessibility and diversity within the outdoors,” says OutsidePR’s President, Jess Fiaschetti. “We can’t wait to support these three incredible organizations and the work they’re carrying out in the coming year.”

The pro bono program is designed to help kick-start strategic public relations and communications campaigns for historically underrepresented brands and organizations, with a focus on non-profit, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC brands and organizations.
