Skida Celebrates 18th Birthday with “Lucky February” Scratch-Off Campaign Where Everyone Wins

February 13, 2026

For a limited time, every online order will ship with a winning scratch-off ticket.

Burlington, VT (February 13, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/Skida, the Vermont-based headwear and accessories brand dedicated to athletic performance and playful self expression, is officially entering adulthood. To celebrate its 18th anniversary, the brand is launching “Lucky February” by inviting customers to participate in a nostalgic rite of passage: a scratch-off ticket game where everyone is a winner.

Starting February 13 and continuing while supplies last, every Skida online order will ship with a scratch-off ticket loaded with one of several possible prizes: a 15% off coupon; a High Pile Hat, Nylon Patch Cap, or a Balaclava; or a gift card worth $150-300.

We wanted our 18th birthday to feel like a party everyone was invited to, and what’s more fun than celebrating new adulthood by picking up a couple of scratch-off tickets from the gas station? said Skida founder Corinne Prevot, It’s our way of spreading joy and saying thanks to our community.”

Skida was founded in the winter of 2008, when Corinne picked up some patterned stretch fabrics at the May Store in Lyndonville, Vermont and made hats for her cross-country ski teammates and friends at Burke Mountain Academy. In a sea of blues, blacks, and reds, the patterned hats stood out for their playfulness and whimsy. Demand soon snowballed, and as the brand grew, so did its connection to sport. Skida has collaborated with top-level athletes (including Jessie Diggins, Kate Courtney, and Ryan Cochrane-Seigel), impactful non-profits (including Protect our Winters and She Sends), and elite sports teams, including U.S. Ski and Snowboard.

Although Skida has grown considerably over the years, it has maintained its youthful, upstart energy by staying committed to local production, limited edition products, and a fresh perspective.

“Ever since I started Skida, I’ve worked to gather a community that champions creativity, leadership, and the power of women in the outdoors,” said Prevot. “I’m grateful and proud that that mission has carried the brand into adulthood.”

Lucky February prizes may be claimed through a dedicated landing page. All prizes must be redeemed by May 1, 2026; discounts cannot be combined; and some exclusions apply. Must be 18 years or older to redeem.
