Title Nine Unveils a Bold Rebrand to Reflect the Adventurous Outdoor Woman
February 3, 2026

After nearly 40 years, the women-owned retailer is evolving its brand identity to move beyond its origins in team sports and align with its core community of outdoor adventurers and risk takers
Emeryville, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Title Nine, the outdoor adventure apparel retailer on a mission to build a community of women who lead, risk and own in the outdoors and beyond, today unveiled a major rebrand. The update features a new ethos and visual identity that reinforces Title Nine’s position as the leading outdoors retailer for women and marks a clear evolution beyond its roots in team sports. Anchored by the call to, “Find Your Wild”, the rebrand reflects the company’s continued commitment to support female adventurers and entrepreneurs in the outdoor industry.
“When I started Title Nine almost four decades ago, I set out to build a company that was about women first, last, and always,” said Missy Park, CEO and founder of Title Nine. “I look at our community now and am in complete admiration of so many women who show up as leaders at work and in the outdoors, all while balancing life and the mess of it all. We celebrate these badass women finding their own adventures in life, and our new branding captures that culture and energy perfectly.”
The new logo is dynamic and expressive, designed to feel in motion. An abstract silhouette is intentionally open to interpretation – some see mountains with a rising or setting sun; others see a woman in motion. That creative flexibility invites personal meaning while also reinforcing the brand’s connection to the outdoors and movement. The distinct orange color channels the energy of the outdoors as well as an optimism and confidence around women’s professional, creative and adventurous pursuits. The new mark was designed in partnership with Kindred, a woman-owned creative agency.
Inspired by real adventures, real women and real moments over the brand’s nearly 40 years of operations, shoppers can expect visual storytelling that is grittier, more joyful and more energetic. Marketing imagery and messaging will capture the momentum and fearlessness of risk-taking women moving through the world, their way. The California-based brand will also be doubling-down into its community with a more robust ambassador program designed to connect women taking risks, both big and small, in the outdoors and beyond.
“Although our roots are in athletics, women’s active lives don’t exist solely in a gym or on a court,” said Title Nine’s president Laurie Etheridge. “Our original community of athletes has expanded to include more outdoor adventurers, calling for a rebrand that pays homage to the women who built Title Nine while also embodying the spirit of exploration of our growing number of outdoor enthusiasts. One thing remains the same: Title Nine is for women who Lead, Risk, and Own their place in the world, no matter the setting.”
The brand reboot is emblematic of the brand’s ongoing mission to support women in every facet of their lives, from the trail to the boardroom. Title Nine has invested nearly $75 million into female entrepreneurs, including investments into women-owned brands and supporting winners of its Pitchfests.

About Title Nine
Title Nine was founded in 1989 as a women’s outdoor performance wear company whose goal is to outfit and inspire women to take risks, lead in their communities, and seek their own adventures. Today, the woman-owned company employs over 300 people and has 17 stores in 8 states, and online at titlenine.com. Selling a range of top brands curated for active women who are on-the-go, the brand has increasingly devoted much of its collections to its own brand creations ranging from swimwear to performance dresses. The company advocates forcefully for women’s issues, including creating Pitchfest Outdoor Edition, the yearly event that partners with small, women-owned brands to find a voice — and a sales platform and the T9 Fund, an investment portfolio, endowed by Title Nine’s sales, that is dedicated to supporting women-powered organizations focused on Athletics, Reproductive Justice & Politics, and Entrepreneurial & Leadership Development.
