Todd Ligare Joins Bootcap to Shape Athlete Community and Content

November 21, 2025

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (November 21, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Bootcap®, the intelligently designed ski boot insulation accessory that keeps skiers’ feet up to 20 degrees warmer without batteries or electronics, is proud to welcome freeride skiing legend, Todd Ligare, as the brand’s new Athlete and Content Manager.

Born and raised in Park City, Utah, Ligare has spent his life on snow and built a reputation as one of the most composed and powerful big mountain skiers in the sport. Known for his iconic Teton Gravity Research film segments and massive Alaskan lines, he will help shape Bootcap’s athlete program and guide how the brand shows up on snow and across social and digital channels.

In this role, Ligare will help drive the growth of Bootcap’s athlete community alongside professional skier and Bootcap partner, Dash Longe, bringing a strong athlete perspective to the brand’s storytelling and product evolution. He will build and support Bootcap’s pro and ambassador roster, help steer the creative direction behind brand content, and ensure Bootcap’s voice and presence resonate with the broader ski community.

With years of experience both on snow and in front of the lens, Ligare understands what athletes need and how to capture moments that resonate.

“Having the opportunity to help build a team from the ground up is really exciting,” Ligare said. “It is a chance to include people I respect in the industry and help them grow and succeed in their ski careers. As someone who spends long days in the cold, it is nice to support athletes with something that improves the experience out on the hill.”

As Bootcap expands its presence across marketing, sales, and community channels, Ligare will help lead the brand into its next chapter. For more information about Bootcap, visit bootcap.com.
