Näak Extends Partnership with UTMB, Remaining Official Nutrition Sponsor Through 2029

Beyond continuing the partnership with UTMB, Näak is leveling up its sponsorship to the Official Premier Partner tier. Näak’s products, all formulated to provide anything an athlete’s body needs, while eliminating anything the planet doesn’t, will continue to be on course at all events within the UTMB portfolio. Additionally, the brand will continue to activate at race expos, allowing racers to try the products that will be on course and purchase any fuel they may be missing for the event, all while building and supporting the trail-running community around the globe.
The partnership with UTMB has been particularly successful for Näak in Europe, and has contributed to rapid growth in that region. “From the beginning of our company we’ve been designing products that provide a complete nutrition package, specifically developed with ultra-runners in mind, so partnering with a series like UTMB makes complete sense,” says Näak CEO and co-founder, William Walcker. “Products like the drink mixes, bars, waffles, purees, and gels that encompass our Ultra Energy line contain the necessary carbs, fats, protein, and electrolytes that a runner needs when spending a day crossing mountains on foot.”
The partnership extension will allow Näak to continue supporting the trail community globally, including at additional races in the United States. In 2025 Näak exhibited at several U.S.-based UTMB races, including the notable Speedgoat Mountain Races and the Kodiak Ultramarathons in Utah and California, respectively. “The response to our products at race expos and on-course at UTMB events has been amazing,” says Näak U.S. Country Manager, Mike Ambrose. “With the extended partnership, and the addition of new events to the UTMB calendar, we’ll be able to continue to reach runners across the world as more events are added and the existing ones grow.”
