SBT GRVL® Adds Friday Night MTN CLMB and New Trail Run Races for 2026 Event Weekend Programming

Steamboat Springs, Colo., (February 13, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – SBT GRVL® presented by Wahoo today announced new programming for the 2026 event weekend taking place June 26–28, including the debut of the newly formatted Friday Night MTN CLMB presented by Ventum and a new SBT GRVL® TRL run in partnership with the Steamboat Springs Running Series (SSRS). The event will also return to its signature one-day ride and race format in downtown Steamboat Springs, with an Expo on Yampa Street Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, followed by the ride and race on Sunday, June 28.

What’s New for SBT GRVL® Weekend June 26-28,2026
MTN CLMB p/b Ventum, June 26
SBT GRVL® is introducing the Friday Night MTN CLMB p/b Ventum that will elevate the previous crowd favorite HLL CLMB event with a new location and format at Steamboat Ski Resort. The MTN CLMB will include a prologue race component where heats of racers will compete the short climb on the ski mountain head to head in a single elimination format for a $1000 prize purse, followed by a family-friendly costume competition lap featuring 33 spectator friendly switchbacks leading into an awaiting party below. The evening culminates with a free concert at the base of the mountain hosted by Steamboat Resort, featuring a DJ, live entertainment, and on-site festivities. Proceeds from the MTN CLMB benefit The Cycle Effect, a Colorado non-profit empowering young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities.
SBT GRVL® TRL, June 27
Also new this year, SBT GRVL® p/b Wahoo partnered with the Steamboat Springs Running Series to add two new trail run events on Saturday, June 27 including a 5K Family Friendly Trail Walk/Run and a 10K Trail Running Race. Both races will start and finish at Howelsen Hill and utilize the trail system on Emerald Mountain, expanding the weekend experience beyond gravel and welcoming runners, families, and multi-sport athletes. Proceeds benefit SSRS and its local nonprofit partners. Awards will be held in Little Toots Park during Saturday’s SBT GRVL® expo festivities with podiums and prizes for top male and female finishers in the 10K and 5K races, plus a multi-sport prize for the top three participants who race the 10K run on Saturday and the Black Course race on Sunday.
