Making Its Debut at the Tour de France 2025
The Tucker III 2Vi® Mips made its first appearance at the Tour de France 2025 where Jonas Abrahamsen of the Uno-X Mobility Cycling Team claimed an impressive stage victory while wearing the Tucker III 2Vi® Mips. Engineered for high speeds and solo breakaways, the helmet features reduced drag, optimized ventilation, and a perfect fit with its 4-shell construction and 360 Occigrip Fit System. Tested and proven in the world’s most prestigious cycling race, the Tucker III 2Vi® Mips is built for riders who want to lead the way.
Experience The Thrill
Developed in close collaboration with the Uno-X Mobility Cycling Team and engineered with expertise from a Formula 1 aerodynamicist, the Tucker III 2Vi® Mips aero helmet is optimized for breakaways, solo efforts, and sprints. Designed to perform at speeds between 45 km/h and 50 km/h, the helmet has undergone extensive wind-tunnel testing and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, with every detail tailored for drag reduction and maximum speed.
At the heart of this innovation lies a shared mission between Sweet Protection and Uno-X Mobility Cycling: to push performance forward without ever compromising protection. The Tucker III 2Vi® Mips builds on this partnership, alongside other cutting-edge products like the Falconer 2Vi® Mips and Redeemer 2Vi® Mips time-trial helmet, reflecting trust, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence on the road.
“What we found was that most of the time trial focussed helmets, we’ve seen an increasing uptake of in road races, were performing well in a head down position. However, as that’s not really a position that’s sustainable for more than a couple of seconds in road races. And that we on average, found it to be faster to tuck your head while looking forward. It was a no-brainer to design around optimal performance in this sort of position.“ – Casper Von Folsach; Performance Coach at Uno-X’s Cycling Teams
Global Season, One Unified Team
As the Uno-X Team looks ahead to the 2026 season, the scope and ambition of the project are clearer than ever. The team will compete across 365 race days, starting on 17 January in Australia at the Tour Down Under and concluding on 18 October in China at the Tour of Guangxi.
On the men’s side, the focus is firmly on the Spring Classics, while continuing to build on the team’s Grand Tour momentum. With debut appearances at the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España, the objective is to add further stage victories across the Grand Tours, alongside targeting another strong overall general classification performance at the Tour de France. On the women’s side, the focus is on continued progression and consistency at the highest level. The team is targeting competitive general classification performances at both the Giro d’Italia Donne and the Tour de France Femmes as key objectives for the 2026 season.
Growing Together: From Continental Roots to WorldTour Reality
This long-term vision mirrors the evolution of Uno-X Mobility Cycling’s partnership with Sweet Protection. From the early Continental years to full WorldTour reality, both brands have grown side by side, united by a shared pursuit of performance and safety.
