Eagle Creek Launches RePack, a Peer-to-Peer Marketplace Giving Adventure Travel Gear a Second Life

April 16, 2026

Powered by Treet, the new resale platform lowers the cost barrier to adventure travel by offering shoppers pre-owned duffels, luggage, and travel packs at accessible price points

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (April 16, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/Eagle Creek, the original adventure travel gear outfitter, today launches RePack, a peer-to-peer marketplace designed to extend the life of Eagle Creek travel gear. Built in partnership with Treet, the platform enables travelers to buy and sell pre-owned Eagle Creek gear at 40–75% off retail prices, lowering the cost barrier to travel and keeping unused or extra travel gear from landfills. RePack stands apart as one of the only peer-to-peer marketplaces in the outdoor industry to offer full-size, expedition-ready duffels and luggage.

“One of the things we’re most proud of is how long our gear lasts. We frequently hear from travelers who have had the same bag for 30 or 40 years, or those who inherited vintage Eagle Creek gear,” said Eagle Creek owner and CEO Travis Campbell. “With RePack, we’re building on that tradition by making it easy to pass gear along to a broader community of adventurers, beyond friends and family. It’s an exciting way to make travel more accessible and sustainable.”

On the RePack platform customers can shop a wide selection of pre-owned gear, including both current styles and discontinued favorites. The platform offers a unique opportunity to discover hard-to-find colors, legacy designs, and “vintage” pieces alongside trusted in-line staples ready for a second life.

Selling on RePack is designed to be simple and seamless:

  • Post: Once sellers upload photos of their gear and answer a few questions, their gear will be promptly reviewed
  • Ship It: After an item is approved for the site and sells, sellers receive a prepaid shipping label
  • Get Paid: Sellers will be paid for their gear, with the option to select Eagle Creek store credit at a higher return

To celebrate the launch and encourage participation in the new circular marketplace, Eagle Creek is offering a limited-time incentive: sellers who list gear by April 19 will receive 120% store credit on their sale. Store credit can only be used on eaglecreek.com. RePack allows travelers to access high-quality gear at a lower price point, help reduce waste, lower their carbon footprint, and keep functional products out of landfills.

RePack marks another step in the brand’s 50-plus-year commitment to more sustainable travel. The Colorado-based brand has also expanded its No Matter What® Warranty, which offers free repair services for Eagle Creek gear. Last year, Eagle Creek successfully repaired 91% of gear submitted through the program, extending the life of roughly 13,000 pieces of adventure travel gear and encouraging a “repair, don’t replace” mentality.

RePack is now live at repack.eaglecreek.com. It is currently available for U.S. customers only.
