Berghaus Made it Rain for Public Lands at Outside Days 2026

DENVER, Colo. (June 4, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ Berghaus, the boldly British outdoor brand with 60 years of technical innovation, literally made it rain at Outside Days this past weekend. The three-day music, film, and outdoor culture festival on the Auraria Campus in Denver drew a crowd of more than 40,000 people—and Berghaus challenged them all to test gear at its rain booth in the name of public lands.

Leaning into its British heritage, Berghaus transformed a London-style phone booth into a drenching rain simulator. Berghaus welcomed festival attendees to put on one of the brand’s waterproof jackets, hop in the booth, and weather the storm. Participants then had the opportunity to take home a jacket if they made a donation to Trust for Public Land—a national nonprofit that works to connect everyone to the benefits and joys of the outdoors.

Between sets of Death Cab for Cutie and Cage the Elephant, 103 participants made donations to Trust for Public Land, which Berghaus matched 100 percent, raising a total of $10,000 to help protect the places we love.

“We were blown away by the number of people who were willing to take on the Berghaus Challenge and help us support a wonderful non-profit organization,” says Shane Wallace, senior vice president of portfolio brands at Pentland Brands. “Thank you, Denver, for showing up!”

Outside Days 2026 marks Berghaus’s first full year in the North American market, and the brand’s presence at the festival is a fitting reflection of the momentum it has built in that short time. The storied British outdoor brand has deepened its commitment with a multi-pronged expansion spanning new hires, sales partnerships, and retail distribution at REI and a curated network of specialty stores.
