Arcade Announces the 10th Annual Mothership Classic Fundraiser

March 13, 2024

Annual Event and Custom Belt Support High Fives Foundation: March 24, 2024

/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – 2024 marks a decade of The Mothership Classic, a ski-a-thon hosted by Arcade to raise funds to help injured athletes in their journey to recovery. The High Fives Foundation is family to the Arcade team, and Arcade is proud and honored to partner with High Fives to further their mission in building communities around individuals with life-changing injuries while also working to prevent injuries from occurring.

Do good and make it fun. Every year in March, Arcade hosts The Mothership Classic, an opportunity to grab your friends, form teams, put on the raddest gear, and take as many fun laps in one day as possible on the legendary KT-22 chair, also known as “The Mothership.” Fun is had, prizes are given, and all funds raised go to the High Fives Foundation, to support those who have experienced life-altering injuries.

Sign up and get involved by giving back to those working toward their dreams of getting back out there and doing what they love.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

What started as a local event 12 years ago is now a national ski-a-thon series to help the High Fives Foundation achieve their mission. We invite you to participate in one of two ways:

HIGH FIVES FOR OUR PARTNER

The High Fives Foundation is a Tahoe-based nonprofit on a mission to help people with life-altering injuries get back to snowboarding, skiing, surfing, mountain biking and beyond. Along with specialized grants, programs, and a cutting-edge facility called the CR Johnson Healing Center, the Foundation designs education around preventing life-changing injuries, and provides resources and hope if they happen.

Formed as a way to “pay-it-forward” by the founder, Roy Tuscany, after his own recovery from a spinal cord injury, High Fives has helped nearly 500 athletes and veterans across North America since its inception in 2009.
