ARTILECT Expands Technical Apparel System with Award-Winning Outerwear for F/W 2022

February 8, 2022

New Outdoor Brand Recognized in Both Europe and North America for Performance, Sustainability and Innovation with a Range of New Designs and First-to-Market Technologies

BOULDER, Colo. – February 8, 2022 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – ARTILECT, a technical apparel brand focused on performance, innovation and responsibility, today introduces its Fall/Winter 2022 range which expands the brand’s A/SYS (ARTILECT Systems) approach to include three new high-performance categories – Insulayer, Vaporlayer, and Missionlayer – each with a range of products for women and men. The new A/SYS categories build atop the foundation of ARTILECT’s collection of Nuyarn-powered merino Baselayer (A/SYS-1) and Nextlayer (A/SYS-2), introduced across the globe in 2021.

Since inception, ARTILECT has forged a new path with a goal to move beyond the current state of technical apparel with new designs, technologies, and materials that set new standards and align with the ARTILECT Systems (A/SYS) DNA, a skin-out approach to optimize thermoregulation, breathability and performance.

“Our Fall/Winter 2022 line represents the culmination of our team’s many decades of experience in the pursuit of performance apparel innovation, focused specifically on the realization of our full systems-based A/SYS collection,”said ARTILECT founder and co-CEO, Trent Bush. “The FW22 ARTILECT Systems collection demonstrates our obsession with the future of performance and sustainability, and we’re introducing an array of groundbreaking, world-first technologies from many of the biggest and most innovative suppliers including Nuyarn, YKK, ALLIED Feather + Down, EMPEL, Primaloft, Trizar, Toray, Lifekey, and lavalan. We are also very proud to be one of the first performance apparel brands to be completely PFA/PFC free in our fabrics, with no ePTFE, C6 DWR, or other “forever chemicals” to be found in our shells, insulations, or linings.”

ARTILECT’s Fall/Winter 2022 Collection has already been awarded for innovation: the Silverton Shell winning the Slide x OTS 2022 Award for Best Software, and the Formation 3L Shell being recognized by Outside Business Journal as one of the Top 50 hottest new products for Fall/Winter 2022.

Working with among the most innovative partners in the world, ARTILECT demonstrates its commitment to forging a new path by integrating multiple first-to-market technologies in the Fall/Winter 2022 Collection, including YKK’s user-repairable and PU conceal zippers, ALLIED ExpeDRY™ 700FP ultra high-performance active-drying down, Trizar space-certified technology for heat management, and High & Dry, ARTILECT’s exclusive 30k/30k waterproof/breathable technologies that reinvent technical apparel performance in both 2- and 3-layer constructions.

Also integrated for performance and sustainability are YKK Touchlink fasteners with Lifekey safety functionality (a first for a North American brand), lavalan® wool insulation, EMPEL™ super hydrophobic water protection, Toray stretch fabrics, Primaloft BIO performance fabric, and RECCO reflectors.

The New Fall//Winter 2022 ARTILECT Systems Collections:

  • A/SYS-3 – Insulayer – Integrated Fusion Warmth
  • A/SYS-4 – Vaporlayer – Highly Breathable Protection
  • A/SYS-5 – Missionlayer – Protective Hardshell
