Backcountry Journeys Launches New Workshop on Bull Moose in Grand Teton National Park

Workshops will take place in November 2022 and will provide opportunities to master wildlife photography

Homer, Alaska – September 21st, 2022 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Backcountry Journeys (BCJ) is announcing the launch of a new destination to their robust line up of photography tours and workshops with the announcement of the Bull Moose Workshop with two departure dates scheduled for November 13th – 17th, 2022 and November 18th – 22nd, 2022. These trips will begin and end in Jackson, Wyoming and provide guests with the opportunity to capture Shiras Moose in their Winter habitat in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.

Registration is limited to seven guests per trip and the first departure of the trip is already sold out. The new departure dates are expected to sell out quickly. Registration will open at 8 AM mountain time on September 21st, 2022. Backcountry Journey trips are all inclusive and these trips will include four nights of lodging, most meals, transportation to and from all locations and expert guides and photography instruction. Trevor LaClair is the Backcountry Journeys field guide, professional photographer and wildlife expert who will be leading the tour for BCJ. Trevor has degrees in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and a master’s in biology with an emphasis on community conservation. He has been guiding trips in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem for the past several years and is an expert on North American wildlife. “The great thing about photographing the Shiras Moose in Grand Teton National Park is that it’s one of the few places where you can see multiple bull moose congregated in small bachelor herds.
