Berghaus Expands North American Footprint with New Hires, Strategic Partnerships, and Retail Distribution

Long Beach, California (May 27, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ Berghaus, the storied British outdoor brand with sixty years of technical innovation, is deepening its commitment to the North American market with a multi-pronged expansion spanning new hires, sales partnerships, and retail distribution.

Alexis Baden Appointed as Berghaus U.S. Marketing Manager

Berghaus’s U.S. team expands with the appointment of Alexis Baden as U.S. marketing manager. Baden, who comes to Berghaus following work at Dakine and AETHER Apparel, will be responsible for further shaping the brand’s consumer narrative, brand identity, and campaign execution across the region.

New Strategic Partnerships: METHOD Outdoor Collective and Press Forward

To further support its sales strategy, Berghaus has partnered with METHOD Outdoor Collective, a full-service, go-to-market sales agency based in Burlington, Vermont. METHOD was founded by Sasha Dietschi-Cooper who brings more than 20 years of experience implementing successful, go-to-market strategies for global lifestyle brands including Burton Snowboards, prAna, Anon Optics, and BIVO—like Berghaus, fellow B-Corporation brands.

“Berghaus has the heritage and technical credentials to earn an enduring position in the highly competitive U.S. outdoor apparel and equipment marketplace,” says Dietschi-Cooper. “We’re excited to introduce Berghaus to specialty retailers across the country.”

Beth Steele adds another 20 years of sales leadership with global brands such as Burton Snowboards, Anon Optics, Peppermint Cycling, and SENIQ. She joined METHOD two years ago as a partner to help METHOD continue its growth in the outdoor and lifestyle space. She says, “I am excited to bring my experience to Berghaus and help this amazing brand flourish in the U.S.”

Also joining the extended brand team is Press Forward, a boutique communications strategy and public relations agency working at the intersection of sport, sustainability, and active lifestyle. Press Forward will lead media relations and content creator strategy for the brand.

The year 2026 also brings an expanding retail presence for Berghaus. The Men’s SS26 Trail collection is currently available at REI, providing access to core American outdoor consumers. In addition, the collection is available at a curated network of specialty retailers, including Windthrow in Seattle, Washington, Hatchet Outdoor Supply Co. in Brooklyn, New York and Field Theory in St. Louis, Missouri. With appearances planned at GOA’s Connect in Reno and Switchback in New Orleans, the Berghaus team is gearing up to preview the fall/winter 2026 line and further establish connections with independent retailers.
