Bill Supple elevated to North American Managing Director for Outdoor & Sports Company Inc.

Supple to lead Mountain Equipment and Bridgedale in the US and Canada.

TORONTO (February 7, 2024)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Outdoor & Sports Company Inc. (OSC), the North American arm of Outdoor & Sports Company Limited based in Manchester, UK, which brings its cutting edge and high performance British outdoor brands, including Mountain Equipment and Bridgedale, to discerning outdoor enthusiasts in the US and Canada, has named Bill Supple as Managing Director for North America.

“Both brands are innovators and leaders in their segments in Europe,” said Supple. “With all the work I’ve done in the background for Mountain Equipment over the past several years, I’m looking forward to putting that knowledge into action and building it and Bridgedale into a market leaders here.”

In 2019 Supple joined OSC in a consulting capacity as Director of Brand and Business Development in the US for Mountain Equipment. In his new role, Supple will be responsible for overseeing all marketing, sales, and operational activities for Mountain Equipment apparel and gear and Bridgedale socks.

Prior to working as a consultant, Supple spent 17 years with Mammut, where he was the President and CEO of Mammut North America. Supple will continue to be based in Vermont.
