SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (June 4, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Boundary Supply is leveling up their commitment to making the most durable packs and bags on the market for both everyday carry and adventure travel. Starting in 2025, the pioneering backpack brand is moving the entirety of their product line to X-Pac or 3-PLY or greater fabrics. The announcement comes after years of integrating more premium weatherproof and ultra-durable fabrics into their pack, bag, and accessory designs.

Originally designed to solve problems for sails in competitive sailboat racing, X-Pac is a laminate technology created by taking multiple layers of material and bonding them together with heat, pressure, and adhesives. X-Pac can handle extreme amounts of rain, UV-exposure, and abrasion, making it the ideal travel companion

Boundary Supply X-Pac backpacks, slings and duffles consistently remain favorites because of their lightweight durability and resilience. Boundary X-Pac is made up of three essential layers:

• 210D / Nylon Cordura® with Barricade™ DWR
• X‑PLY® fiber reinforcement technology
• 100% waterproof PET laminate

In addition to X-Pac, Boundary is also exploring additional offerings in the 3-to-4-PLY space. While 3-PLY is the reigning industry standard for durability and weatherproofing, the brand is keeping a keen eye on fabrication updates and innovations.
