Canada Goose Expects $30 Million Charge for Arbitration Dispute
June 4, 2025
Canada Goose Holdings said it expects to incur a one-time $30 million charge after an arbitrator sided with one of the company’s former vendors in a contract termination dispute.
The Canadian maker of high-end coats said Wednesday that it disagrees with the legal basis that the arbitrator used in awarding financial compensation to the former vendor.
The case relates to the termination of a contract in 2021, the company said, and the judgment doesn’t relate to any current vendor relationships or ongoing business operations.
“Canada Goose maintains strong global partnerships with its vendors and this matter is not expected to have any material impact on the company’s long-term financial position or strategy,” the company said. Marketwatch
