New Carry System Utilizes Innovative “Mule Bar” Technology To Make The One-Trip Beach Day A Reality

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (March 23, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – BOTE (https://www.boteboard.com), the longstanding leader of innovation in the paddleboard, kayak, and water lifestyle space, today introduces the Mule Series, a revolutionary outdoor carry and comfort system. The Mule Series is designed to eliminate the multi-trip struggle, allowing users to get everything they need from the car to the sand, sideline, or campsite in a single, hands-free trip.

The Mule Series is comprised of an ecosystem of gear, including the Mule Dune and Mule Outpost chairs, the KULA Mule soft cooler, and the Mule Tote. The system is unified by the Mule Bar, a patent-pending integration point built into the frame of the chairs. The Mule Bar is a structural “hitch” that allows the cooler, tote, or even a secondary chair to hang securely off the back of the primary chair. By utilizing the backpack-style carry straps on the Dune and Outpost chairs, the weight of the entire load is distributed across the shoulders, leaving hands completely free for other essentials.

True to BOTE’s heritage, the Mule Series is built to withstand the elements. The Dune and Outpost chairs are crafted with aerospace-grade 6063 aluminum frames and 304 stainless steel hardware with UV-rated components. The Mule system is fully modular; users can start with a single chair and add pieces as needs grow and plans change.

“BOTE has always been about making the water and the outdoors more accessible and enjoyable through design and innovation,” said Zack Eckert, General Manager of BOTE. “The Mule Series takes our same water philosophy and applies it to the land. We wanted to solve the ‘gear juggle’ – that awkward, multi-trip trek from the parking lot to the beach, and also provide tough, dependable gear. With the Mule Bar system, you can carry your chair, cold drinks, and additional gear all in one go.”

BOTE’s New Mule Series System Includes:

  • Mule Dune Chair: A low-profile lounge chair designed for sand-level hangs. It features four recline positions, integrated mesh padding, and dual MAGNEPOD™ mounts for magnetic retention of drinkware and speakers.
  • Mule Outpost Chair: A standard-height version of the Mule chair, optimized for easier entry and exit. It is the versatile choice for campsites, sidelines, and tailgates while maintaining full Mule Bar compatibility.
  • KULA Mule: A compact, 16.8L semi-structured soft cooler featuring a single-handed lid opening for easy access mid-activity without the fumbling of traditional zippers. Its hard lid doubles as a stable tabletop surface with a MAGNEPOD™ mount, preventing drinks from tipping on uneven terrain.
  • Mule Tote: A 32L structured carry-all featuring a “doctor’s bag” style hinged opening that stays open for easy packing. Built with water-resistant materials and internal stainless steel rods, it maintains its shape under heavy loads.

The Mule Dune chair, Mule Outpost chair, and Mule Tote are available today at www.boteboard.com and through select retail partners. The KULA Mule soft cooler is coming soon; interested customers can sign up for “Notify-Me” updates on the BOTE website to be alerted of its arrival.
