10 percent of sales from the HEST X Benchetler Camp Pillow will go back to support the Benchetler Fasani Foundation.
SEATTLE (November 3, 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – HEST, the designer of premium sleep products built to bring the comfort of homes to the outdoors, is pleased to unveil its first design in an on-going, limited-edition series: HEST X. The series is launching with a HEST Camp Pillow design done by skier, artist, and HEST Dream Team ambassador Chris Benchetler. Inspired by his roots, the mountains, and the coast, this design is meant to connect people to the natural world.
In addition, 10 percent of all sales from this inaugural collaboration will go to support the Benchetler Fasani Foundation – whose mission is to provide a meaningful connection to the outdoors for those who have suffered loss or hardship, by experiencing the healing properties found only in nature. The foundation recently launched in response to professional snowboarder and Benchetler’s wife Kimmy Fasani and her Breast Cancer journey.
“We created the HEST Pillow to be the last travel pillow anyone will ever need: it’s portable, personal, and comfortable. We are stoked to now collaborate with artists and athletes from our very own Dream Team and introduce the first in the HEST X series, the HEST X – Chris Benchetler Pillow. These dreamy limited-edition designs celebrate the beauty of collaboration and connection with the outdoors, ourselves, and those we share it with,” said Aaron Ambuske, founder of HEST. “Chris and Kimmy are like family to HEST, and we hope to help raise awareness of the Benchetler Fasani Foundation for those who can benefit from the healing impact of the outdoors.”
Benchetler is invested in HEST as a co-owner and was the first to join the brand’s ambassador team, the HEST Dream Team. Benchetler is well known for being a professional freeskier, artist, and filmmaker as well as for adventures with his family in their Sprinter Van, the Stealthy Marmot.
“My art and designs have always been an extension of my experiences on this planet, and that creative process has been an essential part of my exploration toward enlightenment,” said Bechetler. “Stoked to team up with HEST on this project and grateful to bring it all full circle with support for the Benchetler Fasani Foundation so we can help others heal through nature”
The pillow is available in limited quantities to purchase now at hest.com.
