Jetty Launches Charitable Campaign To Aid Those Affected by California Wildfires

January 16, 2025

From Storm Relief to Wildfire Relief, Jetty Remains Committed to Helping its Extended Surf Family and Beyond

Manahawkin, NJ – January 16, 2025 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ Jetty, the East Coast surf-inspired apparel brand with a growing presence in the outdoor and active lifestyle markets, announces its Unite + Rebuild California Wildfire Relief campaign to raise money for those impacted by the Los Angeles-area wildfires. The New Jersey-based business has a long history of coming to the aid of communities that extends back two decades. One hundred percent of profits from Jetty’s latest charitable initiative will directly benefit those in need.

Jetty’s relief effort includes a donation page to collect funds as well as a special edition Unite + Rebuild t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt from which all profits will go directly to California residents and businesses most affected through vetted partnerships. Jetty prints all its own apparel via Jetty INK, so fast turnarounds lead to relief funds being made available quickly.

This past fall, when Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the Southeast, Jetty and its non-profit arm, Jetty Rock Foundation, sprang into action to raise $25,000 that was donated to communities in Florida and North Carolina. Over the years, Jetty has donated more than $2.4 Million to dozens of individuals, businesses, and organizations in need, rallying assistance through its diverse network of supporters. Now, it’s time to rally again.

“Whether East Coast or West Coast, it doesn’t matter—we’re all in this together and need to support one another during difficult times like this,” said Jeremy DeFilippis, Jetty Co-Founder and CEO. “Surfers helping surfers is an amazing thing to witness, and we feel extremely fortunate that through Jetty we can do exactly that. We have friends in California who are leading the charge on fighting the fires and aiding in recovery efforts, and we’re proud to be able to lend support from New Jersey.”

Fundraising and assistance have been a core pillar of Jetty since Superstorm Sandy wreaked havoc on the New Jersey coastline in 2012. Through first-hand experience and difficult lessons learned, the brand and its non-profit can rapidly organize, execute, and disburse funds to those who require it.

The Jetty Unite + Rebuild California Wildfire Relief apparel capsule is now available for pre-order at www.jettylife.com with an anticipated ship date of January 31st. In the coming weeks, both garments will also be available at select retailers nationwide with 100% of profits donated to those impacted by the catastrophic fires.
