Outdoor Prolink team grows and evolves its staff to honor its commitment to being the most responsible pro purchase program.

BOULDER, CO. (June 15, 2021) —Outdoor Prolink, the pro purchase program created for outdoor professionals at the heart of the industry, appoints Kenzie Rodriguez as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Rodriguez was the former head of marketing and membership of Outdoor Prolink and steps into her new position to continue to lead the Outdoor Prolink team with strategic planning, revenue growth, product development, marketing, membership, branding, and partnerships.

“Kenzie has done an incredible job over the years. She’s implemented big changes and improvements in our organization, branding, marketing materials, reporting and analytics, website updates, PR initiatives, and much more,” said CEO of Outdoor Prolink Gareth Richards. “Kenzie is a spark in the room, she’s able to be intense, challenge me and is always forward-thinking. The hard work and dedication she’s put in over the past 4.5 years has been incredible to watch, incredible to be part of and she is beyond deserving of this new title.”

Rodriguez has been with Outdoor Prolink over the past four and a half years, working to elevate the brand as the most trusted, responsible pro purchase program in the outdoor industry. Throughout her tenure, Rodriguez built out the marketing and membership departments, championed Outdoor Prolink’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, implemented company-wide culture and development programs, and played an instrumental role in successful partnerships with top brands including Black Diamond, Osprey, Mammut, and Dynafit. Rodriguez has also spearheaded key membership initiatives, including implementing strict membership requirements to keep the Outdoor Prolink database authentic and verified.

Rodriguez was instrumental in helping to develop the Manifesto– Outdoor Prolink’s commitment to responsibility and authenticity in the pro channel. The Manifesto reconfirms the company’s commitment to a clean channel connecting pros, brands, and specialty retailers, at a landmark time as the industry emerges from the pandemic.

“I am excited to help craft and move Outdoor Prolink towards its 10-year vision, focusing on expansion to new customer segments, markets, and partnerships, while ultimately strengthening systems and operations,” said Rodriguez. “I see my new role as being instrumental in creating future strategic plans with the goal of boosting revenue streams and am honored to be recognized by Gareth and the rest of the team as the right person to lead this charge.”

Prior to her time at Outdoor Prolink, Rodriguez was the Director of Growth Marketing at sovrn Holdings, Inc., where she supported the marketing team in their omnichannel efforts to grow global awareness and adoption of sovrn’s digital advertising products.

The Outdoor Prolink team recently welcomed a new CFO, Ernest Villany. Outdoor Prolink is also excited to welcome Neill Pieper as our new Membership Growth Manager, and Emma Hulme and Andrew Brookens as Membership Coordinators.

“We are thrilled to welcome new faces to the Outdoor Prolink team and family, as well as evolve some of the roles for people who have been with us for a few years,” said Richards. “It is a very exciting time for Outdoor Prolink as we take our learnings from the past 17 years and enter into our next chapter, remaining true to our founding commitment to being the most responsible pro purchase program.”
