October 8, 2020

In the last two years, our grants have helped build and maintain trails at Brian Head Resort, Cumberland State Park, Pahvant MTB trail system, Copper Harbor Trails, and the Butch Cassidy Trail Complex

American Fork, Utah (October 8, 2020)Lizard Skins, one of the industry leaders in cycling grips and road tape, is continuing its long history of supporting trail construction and maintenance. In the last two years, our grants have helped build and maintain trails at Brian Head Resort, Cumberland State Park, Pahvant MTB trail system, Copper Harbor Trails, and the Butch Cassidy Trail Complex.

“We are excited to announce the continuation of our Trail Grant Program, this year has been a strange one for everyone, but one thing we have all seen is more people outside on the trails, and this means the need for maintenance and new trails is even more important,” says Ryan Huntington, Lizard Skins sales and marketing director. “It has been great to see that even out of diversity our shops have been able to get outside and make a difference in their communities.”

In 2020 the Lizard Skins Outdoor Trail Grant will award two $1,500 grants to Lizard Skins direct dealers. Lizard Skins has seen local grant programs have a real impact on communities, and their goal is to create long-lasting experiences for cyclists through supporting mountain biking and cycling trails nationwide. Dealers should contact Lizard Skins for the application form. Each winner will be awarded $1,500 earmarked for future trail projects in their community.

“We believe in trail advocacy and have done ever since we started. We have seen and heard the difference our grants are making, and as a company, we are thrilled to help our dealers and their communities,” adds Brian Fruit, president of Lizard Skins.
