Celebrated for its legendary reliability, off-road capability, and balanced performance, this mid-sized ADV bike forms the foundation of Overland Expo’s latest Ultimate Overland Moto Build—fully outfitted and adventure-ready for international exploration.

The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is powered by a torquey 776cc parallel twin engine housed in a newly designed chassis, delivering a low center of gravity, superior stability, and responsive handling. With 8.7 inches of suspension travel, 21/17-inch spoked wheels, and switchable ABS and traction control systems, the 800DE confidently handles gravel, twisties, and everything in between. Its Dakar-inspired styling and Champion Yellow livery nod to Suzuki’s rich rally racing heritage, while its modern tech and dependable performance look to the future.

To prepare the bike for the rigors of true overland travel, Overland Expo chose Suzuki as its build platform and partnered with a select group of best-in-class brands to outfit the build with essential upgrades:
