Mission Bay RV parks penalized by California Coastal Commission

The California Coastal Commission ordered ‘Campland on the Bay’ and ‘Mission Bay RV Resort’, which are two public trust state tidelands, to pay more than a quarter million dollars in penalties over public access. This was for putting up a bunch of signs up saying that it was only for private use only, and that it was only for guests of paying customers, with their website promoting the resort like a private luxurious beach. 10News
