More National Parks are Requiring Time Entry Passes

RVers and camping enthusiasts who plan to visit some of the nation’s most popular national parks this summer may need to reserve more than their campsites.

Campers who do not already have a reservation for a campsite or rental accommodation will need to reserve a “timed-entry” pass through recreation.gov simply to drive into several national parks.

The “timed-entry” pass system is being implemented as a pilot project as the National Park Service looks for ways to reduce overcrowding in the nation’s most popular parks. WCM
