January 27, 2023

The obstacle pack will be available for obstacle sports event organisers worldwide

London, UK – 26 January 2023 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The world’s leading event site and venue planning platform OnePlan and World Obstacle – International Obstacle Sports Federation today announce a ground-breaking partnership, which will launch a new Obstacle-specific pack for their event planning platform.

World Obstacle, the international sports federation that governs the disciplines of Obstacle Course Racing, Ninja Competitions and Adventure Racing, has organised several national and international events, and from now on will rely on OnePlan’s digital technology solutions to boost these events with new custom features designed specifically for obstacle event organisers.

World Obstacle was founded in 2014 to unify and develop obstacle sports around the world, while representing athletes and providing a pathway to global competitions and international multi-sport games. Familiar obstacle events like Spartan Race, Tough Mudder and Ninja Warrior have millions of fans worldwide, and this new OnePlan package will allow organisers to plan future editions in an efficient, safe, and sustainable way.

This new Obstacle pack will be developed by OnePlan and relies on the expertise, know-how and leadership of World Obstacle, and will enable event organisers to deliver well-planned, safe, and successful events for their members, in a rapidly growing sport worldwide. The pack, due to be released in the coming months, will be available to all organisers of Obstacle events globally within OnePlan, and will add a level of professionalism to their planning and delivery.

World Obstacle President Ian Adamson stated, “World Obstacle has sought partnerships that expand Obstacle Sports within the international arena, ensuring that our sports grow connected with the best solutions and technologies available on the market.”

Paul Foster said, “We’re delighted to partner with World Obstacle in this way and supporting the federation’s vision of delivering safe and fun events. We’re constantly innovating on behalf of our partners, and this pack joins the expanding range of sport-specific features now available in OnePlan.”

Michel Cutait, Deputy Secretary General of World Obstacle added “The partnership with OnePlan has been building for some months, and we have identified a potential that can revolutionise the way we organise our events, creating a standard that unifies events bringing professionalism and high performance to our administration and to our stakeholders.”

This is the latest partnership OnePlan has formed with leading sporting events and bodies, including World Triathlon, the Tour of Britain, Silverstone, the Los Angeles Clippers, and more. It adds to a growing roster of sports-based packs OnePlan has launched worldwide, including for Triathlons, Cycling and Cricket.
